My name is Niamh McKeown and I’m a Freelance Illustrator from Dublin, Ireland. I specialise in Character Design, Product Design, Irish Greeting Cards and Prints.

My inspiration stems from Powerful Influential Figures who have changed the course of history in many various ways. Female leaders who dismantled the stereotypical expectations of a woman, Musicians who created an entirely new sound and Artists who share new ways of viewing the world. In life, I think it’s absolutely essential to learn from those who came before and continue forward with their wisdom.

The style of illustration I focus on is highly detailed colourful design. I continue to experiment with different colour palettes to create a wide variety of prints. Irish Themed Greeting Cards are a large part of my business and I try to tap into ‘Irishisms’ and traditional Irish sayings. My Greeting Cards can also be found on Thortful.com

I’ve created commercial illustrations for a variety of projects such as brand packages, Podcast artwork, product design and logo design. My work has also featured in Lovin Dublin and Womans Way Magazine.
