ABOUT ME

My name is Niamh McKeown and I’m a Graphic Designer and Freelance Illustrator from Dublin, Ireland.

I specialise in creative and collaborative design across illustration, graphic design, character design, brand identity design and product design; including podcast imagery and TV posters.

My work lives across the RTÉ platforms, The Muff Liquor Company, VIBO, OneMoreThing and many more small businesses. A selection of my Irish themed greeting cards an be found on Thortful.com. I continue to supply wholesale prints to various Irish shops through the Faire website. My work has featured in Lovin Dublin and the Woman’s Way Magazine.

The style of illustration I focus on is highly detailed colourful design. I continue to experiment with different colour palettes to create a wide variety of new design ideas. My passion lies in trying to tap into ‘Irishisms’ and traditional Irish sayings and finding new ways of representing them in my work.
